Butterfly Lantern - Video Tutorial

Everyone that has seen this latern in my yard so far LOVES it! I thought it was pretty simple, but the butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit really make it!

This is a sweet little project that reallydoesn't take a lot of time, and helps to recycle some of those butterflies that are being cut out but not used.

What do you need for this project?

• Lantern I got mine at Ikea but you can find them in lots of places
• Any color card stock or DSP that you wish to use (I used left over butterflies for mine)
• Big Shot
• Beautiful Wings Embosslit
• Mini Glue Dots

Drink Treat Box - Free Video Tutorial

Okay so who has 1 bottle of water at a party or get together? If you are like me I have 1 bottle but I keep filling it back up for more! Especially if I have some Crystal Light Peach Mango Green Tea packets to go with it!

So when you have a party how fun would it be to have these little treat boxes to go along with your drinks as favors? Have each one filled with each person's favorite drink packet.

Heyyy!! there is an idea for a roomie gift for Convention! I wonder if they come in Coke flavor for my roomie?? LOL nope, but that is okay.

Block Party!

Remember having block parties when you were a kid?? Oh wait maybe I just aged myself BIG TIME! HAHA! That is okay because I had so much fun making these blocks it was awesome! 

But wait!!! Mine are MAGNETIZED! That is right I can change them out to be anything I want them to be!  With a little switch it is all good and ready for the next occasion, season or whatever I want them for!

When you register with payment, I purchase materials for you, reserve your space (potentially turning other customers away), and prepare the materials for your projects.

In the unfortunate event that you are unable to attend I will be unable to refund your money. However, you will receive a packet containing all the materials to construct the projects. If  you are unable to pick up your packet before 90 days from the first day of class, your packet will be donated to the local church preschool for their use. I do this because I do not have the room for storage.

New Purse

I finally finished doing this card purse this last weekend.  It took a while to get it all together.  I just love the way that it turned out. I showed it to the gals that were in my Stamp Camp this last weekend and they all loved it.

I can't wait to get the cards to go inside for it and set it up as my next stamp camp in May.  There is even going to be a necklace, and a few other things to go along in the camp! My gals are very excited! Which I just love :)

Mothers Day Pin Card - Last Preview Video Tutorial

Punch Art - Fishing Father's Day Card - Free Video Tutorial

 

What dad doesn't like to go fishing? I think now it is just finding the time to do it! So as a little reminder to dad's I thought this card would be a cute on for father's day!

This card is fun, and easy at the same time. It really doesn't even take all that long to make. Which.. sometimes is a great thing!

This card measures 3 x 6 so you will need a long skinny envelope to put it in.

Card Frame For Mom - Preview Video 3

 

 

This is a fun, easy project for yet another mommy and me day! You can even make these for fathers day or any other occasion, just by the change of colors or paper. If you haven't noticed yet, I like to make things that can be used over and over. Not just for one occasion, but many.

Wine Glass Lampshade ~ Preivew 2 video tutorial

These are really cute , easy and fun for any Mommy and Me day for mother's day tea or other activities.

You can use this on any wine glass you have int he house and they make great table settings!

Do you know the date?

We are all moved! Don't say congrats yet... I am still not unpacked. That probably wont be until next week.  I had a LOT of painting to do before unpacking. I just didn't think I could handle sleeping in a master bedroom that was Crumb Cake with an 18" Tangerine Tango racing stripe going through the middle of all the walls (even the walls in the master bathroom!) Then I had to paint the office/craftroom which my mother in law so lovingly started on. I finished the painting in there today and started to do the stenciling. It is really looking nice! I will post photos as soon as I am done and the room is ready to go again.

But with my husband being off an extra day and the clocks not working I have been off a day! Looking everywhere for a calendar - but just got my internet up and working today. I normally use the calendar that is on my email - but that is internet based.

Well while unpacking I came across a calendar that I had made and planned to make a tutorial for before I moved. Is this not cute???? I love it!

You just flip the cubes to the numbers of the date. You can see the date I made it from the photo. I feel like that was such a long time ago with this move!! HAHA!

But I made this tutorial, and got some things ready for the "Love for our parents" Mothers & Fathers Day Edition of Gettin' Crafty Online Classes. The preview for that will be starting here in just 2 weeks!!!

I better get a move on getting that craft room put together!!

Cupcake Purse D'Ann Style!

I am so honored and feel so happy that I have made a new stamping friend. D'ann emailed me a while ago to let me know that she had made the cupcake purse from the tutorial that I wrote. Since then we have been emailing back and forth and I just love getting her emails! Like the photo that has been around for years... 

 

that is so true! lol I know most if not all of you stampers out there feel the same way :)
