It is time again for the Stampin' Queens Sketch Challenge this week! Last week we had 2 awesome winners of FREE subscriptions to the So Stampalicious Online Classes! That was so fun!
I don't know why but I can't resist putting "eat beef" signs on all the little turkeys that I make. I think it is just so cute! :)
This card was so much fun to make!
I used the 15/16 oval to make the pumpkin bodies and the turkey body.
Then of course I used the 1 1/4" scallop circle punch for the feathers which I made from Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, and More Mustard.
The beak and the wattle are heart from the owl builder punch. I just cut the top off the more mustard heart for the beak. The wattle I just cut a cherry cobbler heart in half.
The hands and feet are also from the owl builder punch. I used the feet in more mustard for both. His eyes are the smallest part of the eyes from the owl builder punch as well in whisper white. I just put a black dot with a pen for the pupils.
OH! and I almost forgot the most important part! His head is a 1/2 circle using the punch. For the oval it was just the 2 x 1 3/8 wide oval punch in whisper white. But, the scallops behind it are just the 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch. I arranged them so that they would look like the scalloped oval die from the big shot.
Put it all together with some early espresso taffeda ribbon, some spice cake dsp and a good sketch and bada bing! you have yourself a cute card!
