Today was a very fun day! I actually got finished 4 quilt cards! can you belive it! probably not because I completely forgot to take photos of the Rich Razzleberry ones that I made before my mom took off with them..haha! oh well I am sure you are having such a hard time suffering with this one aren't you :( lol I love this new design and it is so much faster then the last yellow one that I did.
I love this new pattern that I found! on equiltblocks.com this link will take you directly to the block that I used for this card. But here is the pattern for you as well. I like to do the pattern this way with photoshop so that I know where I am going to be putting things and it is easier for me to follow.
But this card was actually made for my husband to take to work with him for all of his co-workers to sign for a sympathy card for a co-worker that lost a loved one and her favorite color is blue. I am so happy that I was able to make this for them to sign for her.
I also did the flowers a little different on this one as well. I forgot to color a second set of flowers and these were just some that I had left over from the flowers that I punched out for the quilt square. I have also noticed that if you bend the quilt square after you run it through the big shot that it makes it lay a little more flat then when it comes right out of the big shot. which is really nice. I am really loving using the On The Grow stamp set for the back ground. Granted it takes a little more time because you have to color the flowers... but it is still really nice and worth the extra effort!
What else did I use?
- On the grow stamp set
- baja breeze CS, Stampin' Write Marker
- Pear Pizzazz CS , Stampin Write Marker
- Bashful Blue Stampin Write Marker
- Early Espresso CS
- White Gel Pen
- Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon
- Sticky Strip
- Dimensionals
- Big Shot
- Lattice Textured Impressions Folder
- Paper Snips
- Scallop Trim Border and Corner Punches
- Stazon Ink
I hope that you enjoy today's quilt pattern card :) I had a great time making it!
Until next time my friends!

Very pretty! I love quilt cards. I'd love to know how to do your own block in Photoshop. Is there a tutorial? TFS.

This is a beautiful card. Thank you for sharing the quilt block site. I have been wanting to try this on some cards of my own.
