I have been missing in action AGAIN for the last few days. Mother's day weekend was wonderful! I got to spend all day Saturday doing what I wanted with who I wanted to. Then Sunday I was with my husbands family for mother's day at my mother in law's house. Needless to say it was a very busy, very crazy weekend. I am also still down with the sinus infection as well... anyone know a good rotor rooter person? I think I need it for my sinuses!
Then to top it all off.. you are NOT going to believe this one! I had to do my TAXES AGAIN! I had this really weird gut feeling that I should call the IRS and ask them if they had actually received my efiled tax return... THEY SAID NO! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! ALL OVER AGAIN! and thanks to Mr. Murphy the almighty maker of stinky laws for some reason or another I CANT find my saved return anywhere on my computer. UUUUGGGGHH! Thank goodness I still had all my notes, everything in order AND the best part was that I already had everything in Quicken so all I had to do for the Stampin' Up! part is import the information :) Now THAT is what I'm talkin bout! LOVE THAT! so please, someone make the bad tax man and murphy STOP! I want to get in my craft room and do some crafting for crying out loud! GEESH! these IRS people really need to know what priorities are more important!
So I dont have anything for you that I made TODAY... but I do have a stash of photos of things that I have done for moments just like this one :)
This is one of the twisted cards that I made for a wonderful friend of mine for her granddaughters birthday. I had a GREAT time making it, and I know that she liked it because she kept trying to buy the retired kit off me...HAHA! But I have lots of things to do with it for my Meadow.
This one opens up just like the others do, but I didn't take a photo of the inside because the inside wasnt finished when the card left my house. Annette (my friend) still had some things she wanted to do with it at home before she gave it to her granddaughter.
What did I use for this one?
- Crew Kids Simply Scrappin Kit (sorry retired)
- Curly Cute Stamp Set
- Fun Flowers Die
- Big Shot
- Bitty Buttons
- Distressing Kit
- Regal Rose CS, Classic Ink
- Whisper White CS
- Pretty in Pink Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
- Old Olive 1/8 inch Taffeta Ribbon
- Stampin Dimensionals
- Mini Glue Dots
