Or maybe I should say Quilt made out of paper? I am sure that all of you have seen these AWESOME looking qulit cards that have been going around. Now i am not going to say that mine are better blah blah blah... because they are not, I am just beginning and this is a practice run... so... that was just your fair warning that there will be a lot more on here since I have figured out how to do them and it is so relaxing and FUN! I love making them! I wish a real quilt was that easy to make! shoot I wish it only took that long to make one for real out of material!
This started out as one idea, then grew a little, and a little more then a little wee bit more... and now it is 2:24 AM AND I AM STILL UP! HAHA! and here all i wanted to do was to finally make a qulit card... boy did I go a little over board!I even used a great stamp set that I have not used in well.. probably the better part of at least 2 years! When I saw this little hippo I thought that it would be perfect for any birthday party or baby shower. Or just something for a friend.
I was inspired by several different people to make this little purse Lynn Pratt being the biggest person on the list of who I owe this too. her things are awesome you should really check out her blog. She has a lot of amazing things on there!
Here are all the samples that I have for it. I hope that you liked to project. It is actually going to be my may stamp camp.
But I am currently falling to sleep, so I shall post more later, and tutorial will be finished for tomorrow :)
What did I use though?
- Lattace textured imbossing folder
- big shot
- pink pirouette cs
- white gel pen
- whisper white cs
- chocolate chip cs
- sweet pea (retired) paper packages
- Fun Pun stamp set
- Water color crayons
- stampin dimensionals
- tombow liquid glue
- buttons
- scallop trim boarder punch and corner punch
- ball chain (found at local bead store)
- decorative label punch
But I best get some sleep and get off the computer before I say something silly again...LOL
Thank you so much for looking! Have a blessed day!
Until next time my friend!
