Today is the DAY! Birthday Bunco day that is!! :) I am so excited I can't wait for all the festa to begin!
I stayed up LATE last night having a GREAT TIME with my downline making swaps for the upcoming regionals, and some great goodies for Birthday Bunco!
I made this super great milk carton with the Big shot die cut, and made this great little kitty that I have dubed ZOOORRRRROOOO KITTY! for a cute little give away for the bunco party. It is filled with one of my favorite candies tootie rolls :)
I loved making this little kitty but after making them all it looks as if I went out dancing all night! Although, we had some great music, fantastic eats, and my husband even played bartender (although he passed out from the watermelon martini's... hehe) It was one heck of a fun night! We kept teasing that everyone missed the party.. haha! I can't wait for everyone to see the Zorro Kitties! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I was actually inspired by fellow demonstartor Kay Sha while I made mine a little differnent she is the one that taught me how to make them. If you click her name you will learn how to make them as well. I LOVED making them!
Also when I made the milk carton, before I put it all together, I ran it through the big shot one more time with the Spider Web textured impressons embossing folder. I then took a sponge with black ink and sponged it lightly just on the raised parts of the embossed part of the paper to give the spider web some definition and more texture.
