Gettin' Crafty with Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Cristena Bagne

LOVE IT! Faux Book

This was inspired to me by my friend Frances. She is so wonderful and always looking for inspiration for me to make creations. While I was making this tonight, she just kept saying how much she loved it, when I .... well did not! But then I normally don't like anything I make until it is finished. 

I actually used the front of a card that I did in the past for the front of this faux book. I mean I really did just rip it off the other card and put it on here...LOL I was telling Frances that I wanted it to look like this card.. but I was out of Pool Party Card Stock... 

Frances left the room for a moment and she said she was thinking to herself... "she is going to rip that off the card" and SURE ENOUGH! She walked back in the room and that is EXACTLY what I was doing! LOL That woman knows me a little to well sometimes I think.. but I LOVE it! 

Frances is actually the inspiration for the inside of my card as well. I found this quote or something like it, because it was refering to men... on a website. I was looking through the friendship quotes and found this one and thought "this is the story of my life!" and had to use it!  You may need to click the photo to pop up the true size if you want to see it, but it says "A friend is someone that knows ALL about you, and STILL likes you" LOL I LOVE IT! is that perfect or what?!?

But this little card was a lot faster than what I thought it was going to be.. I mean making the inside because of course since I ripped my other card apart to get this one it was fast...lol

but I love how it looks like one of those old fashion books that you can hide things in :) Talk about some fun! :)

Even my son was impressed by this. He has been making cards with me all day and let me know tonight that he wants to work for Stampin' Up! too. My husband asked if he wanted to go to work with him and learn to drive a forklift ... that was fun. My son said "No, that's boring daddy! I want to make cards and videos with mommy and Stampin' Up!"   Granted I am sure that will change in his life later on... but I still love it now :) 

Well I best be going, no rest and still have work to do :)

Beautiful Birthday

This was inspired by a card we did for Leadership make & takes. We were shown the idea to put two flowers from the blossom punch on top of each other and cut the petals so that they would look more 3d and have more texture to the card. The center flower is from the Designer Printed kit "Blossom Builders". I would have never thought of using it that way until I saw it at leadership. 

The rest is just stamped with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and Daffodil Delight Classic Ink.  The Happy Birthday is from the Curly Cute Stamp Set. That was stamped with the Pear Pizzazz classic Ink.

FFC1 & A Wedding Card for Michelle

Yep it is this fold again! I LOVE IT! My friend Frances has told me that she thinks I will be making a lot of these since I love them so much.. you know I think she is right! Because unknown to her I also made one of these for my birthday card club! HAHA! She is going to have a surprise tomorrow for that class :) 

But this is part of the Gettin' Crafty Online Classes Friday Folds Challenge. I have challenged everyone, and now you as well. To participate in this fun fold to see what you can make. I have put all the dimensions on the Gettin' Crafty Online Classes website. When you get to the site, the top header will have "Weekly Challenges" and it will take you directly there! 

There will be prizes for 2 winners that participate.. but you have to actually participate in order to win..haha! The instructions to participate are easy! make the card with this fold, upload it to the site (if you are a demonstrator it is just like Stampin' Connection, if not email me and I will help) with the tag FFC1 so that everyone can see your card. easy!  

The winners are picked via Random.org so don't think your card won't stand a chance.. because it will :) Every card in my book does. I like to keep it real because I KNOW what my first cards looked like..... OI! I don't even have words for how bad they were! lol

To PayPal or Not to PayPal...

This is the question. I have to say I have not been accepting Paypal for quite some time. This is only because I have had the horrible experience of having my account hacked before (more than once actually). 

However, I have noticed that more and more of my wonderful followers are asking "can you help me? I can't find the paypal button" .... At the time, that is because there wasn't one...

But I am realizing how many of you don't mind PayPal and sometimes prefer it. So... In light of this I am going to give it one more go. 

So Please know... while I am accepting PayPal again, it is only for trial to see if this is going to workout or not. 

I hope this will please you all :) because that is what I aim to do. 

You can still check out with the little grey buttons you see that say add to cart... and from the cart you will have the choice to use PayPal, or to use ProPay - either way I see none of your information accept for an address or email if I need to send you something. 

Thanks for being patient and letting me know still how much you love my projects :)

OH before I forget.. If you are one of my monthly card club members...  the only thing that I can't accept PayPal on is the monthly card club.. that is because I have everything set up through Mail Chimp and they use Amazon Payments, so this I am unable to change... sorry. 

 

Fun Fold Valentine

 

Okay so it looks a little plain on the outside... hehe well maybe not.. but it is actually a LOT of fun! and easy to make this card.

I had a lot of fun making it, and actually had to use our Stampin' Up! flower holder to take the photo because I couldn't get the darn thing to stay closed to safe my life! HAHA! 

This fun little card will be included in my upcoming monthly card club for February. I am sure that everyone is going to love this  especially when they find out just how much fun it is going to be to remake on their own.  I am even going to be sending these out just a wee bit early so that they can have them on time for Valentines. Just in case they want to use it themselves, or for those last minute Valetine parties.  Which is what I will be having as well! 

You will be surprised to find that there isn't a whole lot of paper used for this card, but the PS I love you stamp set really makes an impact on that wow factor! 

I can't wait to hear what all my club members have to say about getting this card :) I hope you all enjoy it!  You should see it completely opened up! Talk about some fun!!

so much fun, and I am having a GREAT time using my "random" stamping with this fun stamp set.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the card I made. I would post it tonight, but I have to finish writing the tutorial first, yes it is that much fun!

Out from under all the snow...

 A week at Leadership in San Antonio was wonderful! However, coming home to find my family without power and covered in snow, fallen down trees and more... not so fun :( 

Thankfully we have power and as of today.. er yesterday when this posts... we have internet connection finally as well! Was looking as if we weren't going to get it back there for a while. Along with friends and family members that were also without for over a week! Talk about horrible! 

So.. did anyone miss me? LOL 

This is the sketch for this week's Stampin' Queens.. with a down  computer last week I didn't get to post... so if you head over to the Stampin' queens you will actually get 2 weeks worth of inspiration! So Excited!

I am so super excited! I will soon be leaving out of the snow.. and hopefully to some sun! I am going down to San Antonio for some fun, stamping, regeneration of mommy brain cells, and more stamping :) 

This year however as you can see from the photos is a special one! 

Thanks to my downline, my customers, and some hard work, I promoted to Manager this past summer. So this is my first year I am able to attend a very special event that I have been working on for 4 years of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and that is to have the privilage and honor of attending Managers Reception at leadership. It almost doesn't feel real, however I have a photo of my invitation to the wonderful event. 

I know... doesnt look like much when you get it in the mail... but I still SCREAMED will glee, and needed to catch my breath before opening it. 

It was so pretty though... I didn't want to open it, but then... when you look closer... there is  something 

more in there... I thought I had to take off the ribbon, and unroll it like a scroll... but NOOOOOOO It was even more cool than that!  It was a fan! I don't know if you remember the post that I had up a while back that said we were going to the theater to see the chinese acrobats perform... but how neat is this for an invite? I think it is so cool!  I am VERY excited!!! I even have one of those nice little house drawings on my badge for leadership as well. 

But this is not the only thing that is on the fan... this is just one side of the fan. There is more on the other side as well. 

It has the actual invite information on it! how awesome is that! I have always thought it would be cool to have an invite like this for a new years party or something fun for just about anything, and now I am honored by having received one from Stampin' Up! 

I hope you enjoyed my news... I will try to update as much as I possibly can while I am gone - I will be leaving 5am Tuesday morning the 17th and I will be back midnight Saturday night the 21st.  Although, I wont offically be back until the 23rd because I have a very good friend I have not seen in years that will be here when I get back from TX - the day after I get back she leaves to go back to CO. So I will be spending the day with her. We haven't stamped together in over 4 years I think now... so we need to get our craftin on! 

 

But I will post as much as I can while I am gone, and I am actually going to be having a fun stamping special and some crazy prizes while I am gone.. so you should try to check in every day :)

This is a Pre-Paid Event ONLY - Please understand that I must order all the materials necessary for the class in advance.

When you register with payment, I purchase materials for you, reserve your space (potentially turning other customers away), and prepare the materials for your projects.

In the unfortunate event that you are unable to attend I will be unable to refund your money. However, you will receive a packet containing all the materials to construct the projects. If  you are unable to pick up your packet before 90 days from the first day of class, your packet will be donated to the local church preschool for scraps.

If you registered without payment, and your payment is not received by the last day of registration, you will be taken off the attendee's list and no product will be ordered for you.

For any Classes to go - When your order is received with payment (if you send a check I will wait until it has cleared) I will cut all consumable supplies and package them to go on Monday's. I will then ship on Tuesdays - along with sending you the tutorial on the same day I ship out your items. example: if you order on a Tuesday, your order will be cut and sent the following week.

Sweetest Gift Of All!

 

This has to be one of the best and sweetest gift packaging for what I believe to be one of the best gifts of all! A CUPCAKE! 

Yes, I am a complete cupcake freak! I LOVE THEM! Cupcakes and Ice Cream (specially Cold Stone) are my biggest  BIGGEST downfalls EVER! I cannot resist them! 

So I thought making a little box to put one in for a birthday gift for a sister in law that has EVERYTHING well almost everything because I am writing this before she actually has gotten the cupcake..hehe! 

and I am putting in the purse as well a Simply Adorned necklace that I made for her because I know that she has been wanting one for a very long time :) So she is getting some awesome stuff for her birthday as far as I am concerned :) only cuz I love her of course!

The little box in the center holds the cupcake so that it doesnt move around. Although, I will warn you!! Don't hold it up after it is finished and tilt it a little so your friend that you are video crafting and chatting with can see... because it will roll out and make all your DSP and envelope the colors of the frosting... LOL OOPS! LOL although, I guess it makes the colors all tie in with the cupcake?! :)

But the envelope will have her birthday card and her necklace inside. I love it!! I know that she is going to freak out about it because she is like me and says "no gifts please" for your birthday she just likes to spend time with friends and family... but ya know how sisters are they NEVER listen :) in less you are pouring your heart out of course. 

OH!!! I just looked at the time!! I better get my kids ready to go see my sister in law for her birthday and take her gift. I have punch art class today so we will be having our own kind of fun. :) Walking in 39 degree weather just really isn't my style.. I will let my sister in law freeze her bootie off then she can come have fun in the warm house with us! LOL 

So I will Leave  you with this one last photo and looking at that YUMMMMMY CUPCAKE I JUST WANT TO EAT IT!! LOL thank goodness I got 12 of them so I could have some... oh wait.. we already ate them all... hope this one survives and gets to my sister in law!! lol
